Urban Lighting Identity

The research aims to develop tools for investigating the city’s night-time identity and a framework for urban lighting. We start from the old district of Bangkok, focusing on two main areas: Banglumpu and Pak Klong Talad (Flower market) as they are highly active at night. To collect data in the initial process, we use a qualitative research approach (interview) and field studies (observations and light measurements), later we engage stakeholders in a night walk and lighting mock-up evaluation.
