Focus Group on Smart Lighting

LRIC and Research Development and Innovation department of NSTDA conducted a

smart Lighting R&D networking and focus group workshop last year. It aims to build the network and connection between government and private stakeholders who are related to the topic of energy saving, to sustainably develop quality of life, social and economic. We had a special guest speaker – Prof. Michael Siminovitch to gave a lecture and led the workshop on smart lighting technology. About 30 stakeholders joined the lecture and brainstorming session to discuss the direction for smart lighting development, action and innovation within a small group,

The stakeholders from the government sector included the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Defense, Marine Department, Electrical and Electronic Department, The Federation of Thai Industries, Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning. And the private sector (lighting industry and developers) included the Electrical Generating Authority of Thailand, Thai IoT Association, Worldex, and The Exhibiz.
