Floramoon

LRIC was responsible for lighting design and event lighting for Eat in Soi festival under the ‘Floramoon’ concept in a Princess Mother Memorial Park and Chao Phraya riverfront walkway from Ta Dindang pier to Laem Thong salt factory. The areas were illuminated with colorful flower-shaped lightings to represent the theme ‘Floramoon – flowers under the moonlight, with the equipment support from We-Ef and Onga.

We also collaborated with ESIC Labs to create an interactive lighting installation – Plieu and Proud, inviting people to interact with the artwork and see the effect of changing colors. This art installation was made from thousands of recycled plastic bags through artists’ and locals’ participation. Moreover, to celebrate the 190th anniversary of Prayoon Temple and the HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhon, the Great Chedi in Prayoon Temple were lit up in purple and gold, with the equipment support from L&E.

For more information on the role of lighting installation in a long-term plan, please visit this for the interview of Prof. Chanyaporn (our LRIC director) with ADAY Magazine.
