Sasipawun
Sasipawun meditation retreat is designed by A49 limited, aiming to open for the public interested in meditation and dharma study. They are composed of a meditation center, Chedi Kawe, monk’s house and canteen. LRIC received a chance to study natural daylight in the hall where the statue of King Rama 9 is enshrined. The opening is precisely calculated to allow sunlight to shine on the face of King Rama 9’s statue on the 5th of December at 10.39 AM every year. We have tested the daylight effect on computer simulation, model, and onsite mockup on that day, last year, to make sure that the calculation is correct.
